How do I pack my originals?
Photos and slides in a sturdy box or a padded envelope, negatives in their sleeves, cassettes and film reels individually. Enclose the completed cover sheet and ideally send it by registered mail.
Will I get my originals back?
Yes, always. You receive your originals back together with the files, by post or for collection.
What does return shipping cost?
Postage by weight according to the Swiss Post tariff (A-Post or PostPac Priority) plus 3.– for packaging and handling per letter or 5.– per parcel. For example: photos or negatives in an envelope 5.50, thick envelope 7.50, parcel up to 2 kg 15.50, up to 10 kg 18.50. Collection in the shop is free.
In what form will I receive the files?
Images as JPG (or TIFF for the highest quality), videos and cine films as MP4, via download link or on a USB stick.
How long does it take?
That depends on the type and quantity. For larger orders, we will tell you in advance when everything will be ready.
I have a great many pictures or an entire archive.
No problem. Send us a short description (type, approximate quantity) and you will receive a quote before we start.
Can I also have the digitised images reprinted?
Yes, on real photo paper. Simply tick the box on the cover sheet.
